This is a great campground. I try to at least visit it once a year. I accidentally locked myself out of the cabin and they were very quick to get me back in even though it was after hours. You can tell that the owners really care about there campground. I definitely recommend and I will be a repeat customer for years to come!

Maintained rustic cabin was in solid condition, the grounds have lots of discover and is a great site to host all your Gunflint Trail activities while not being too far from Grand Marais and the Great Lake.

This campground is a dream. We’ve been camping here in the fall for the last handful of years. We’ve enjoyed every campsite we’ve had. We stayed in alder cabin this year. The cabin was clean and made our stay very enjoyable. We loved the spaciousness of the campsite and the walk down to the lake from our campsite.

Everything was clean, very quiet- perfect wooded setting. We loved that there were so many windows you could open in the camper cabin.

Cabin was nice, mattresses on beds were old and need replacing - there were only two of us so we were able to double up the mattresses to make them more comfortable. Screen porch was nice but there was a large hole in the door and one edge was pulled out from the staples. My husband fixed both with duck tape.
The cabins would be even better if solar was added.

This campground is on the small side but very nice. We were there at the end of summer and there were very few mosquitoes.
