The campground & park were very good & will return again if we are ever in the area again.

This a nice campground. We typically reserve campsite # 1 or 2, partly due to others already being booked. Campground is well maintained and we normally use the showers, which are kept clean. This is our go-to campground when visiting family in northeastern Minnesota. I know for some the railroad line that runs between the highway and campground can be loud, but does not bother us. You can also hear the highway traffic, but again does not bother us as we typically have a fan going to create some white noise.

We stay here every year, we like the river and the hiking trails across the dam. Showers are great as our son participates in a hockey camp when we stay. Close to town which has many fun things to do.

We had the site by the tall grass and swampy area near the river and the mosquitoes were very hungry. We could also hear the hi-way noise.

The campground is clean and quiet except when the train goes by . The facilities are very nice and it's close to town and a lot of fun and interesting attractions. I would recommend it.
