We were in site #21 and we had a truck and 25 foot trailer. We had plenty of space and the sites all seemed to be very private. Crescent lake is out in the wilderness as much as anyone would ever want to be. We loved it. We heard loons every night. We hoped to hear wolves but we didn't unfortunately. There were clean pit toilets for those who would need that but we used our trailer toilet. There was also a water spigot. We would definitely go again. Camp host Jack was nice too.

We were told this was RV friendly, however the site we reserved was too narrow and short to fit us, not as long as was advertised. We found another longer one, but the road was far to narrow to back our fifth wheel into a spot.
Because the road was so narrow we also had to keep moving to allow others to pass….every 5 minutes another vehicle needed to get by, which allowed zero time to try and back in. People were extremely rude about it as well, even swearing in front of my kids.
The trees were also not cut up high enough to not damage the sides and roof of the RV.
Another major concern was that the FS roads to the campground were heavy with washboarding which made the ride there really awful. It was horrible for the RV as well, not ideal in the least.
We ended up leaving this campground as it really wasn't a site that could accommodate our fifth wheel.
I would recommend making sure people know about the road conditions, I would trim the trees up higher, and would give exact photos of the entrance and exact measurements of both the road and drive so people can know not to come if they won’t fit.
We have a disabled child and have to camp in an RV due to his special needs. We were not made to feel welcome to stay there at all.
Even though the camp host was super helpful, the other campers made us feel we did not belong.
I was also made aware of multiple campers who were up there specifically to bait bear, that did not make us feel comfortable or happy in the least. I do not feel those sorts of activities should be allowed near the developed campgrounds. That puts everyone at risk and goes against the idea that you should not have food around to draw in bears, so that is confusing.
All in all, we will not be able to come back, and most likely wouldn’t want to.

Nice quiet campground. Not much for cell service there but that’s ok.

Quiet campground. Clean toilets. The weather was beautiful. Very few mosquitos because of the drought. Did see several Perseid meteorites through the high veil of smoke from the fires in the West.

Had a great time. We couldn’t have a fire due to dry conditions but otherwise the site was good. One night we could hear wolves howling close by, it was awesome. Host was excellent by the way.

Excellent place to stay for either overnight before a BWCA entry or for a longer time. Very quiet, secluded sites and nice lake!
