Our biggest concern during this camping trip was how the Covid pandemic would impact our visit. It was very reassuring to know that the staff at Sawbill had committed to isolating before they arrived and immediately after they got to Sawbill, as well as agreeing to stay at Sawbill for the entire summer. Bathrooms were cleaned daily, and the store was very accessible despite being "closed" to inside shoppers. The staff was very helpful and did their best to accommodate everyone. The staff also ALL wore masks, as did most of the campers in the area of the store. Our trip was great regardless of the restrictions, and we certainly felt very safe.

The folks at Sawbill Outfitters follow excellent COVID-19 safety practices, and do a good job with customer service nonetheless.

Unbeatable location at the edge of the BWCA. Canoes or kayaks for rent. Knowledgeable staff who are friendly and ready to help, stunning scenery, spacious and well separated campsites. Fantastic! I’ve been here several times before and I’ll be back many times again. Best overall camping spot ever,

I wish I’d known the showers were closed, but it’s not a deal breaker.

See you next year! Maybe sooner!

Sawbill Lake Campground is perhaps one of the best national forest campgrounds that I have stayed at. Very clean and well maintained. Dirt roads, but that is fine. Great access to the lake. We had site number 5, which we felt was the best site in the campground. A large site that has views of the lake.
