Very nice park. Believe it or not the shower had a little too much pressure (never thought I would say that). The lock was cool - too bad you can't see it better. Looks like there used to be a viewing dock but not any more. We watched a barge go into lock, lock closed then we had to wait to see barge rise.

Lights need to be installed around playground area for safety and visibility. Bath houses are long over due for an update. Besides this campground is a beautiful place and a pleasure to visit.

Great pads to park and then the picnic table area had its own connected pad. The bathhouse was clean with plenty of hot water. The camp host ride around quite a bit. When parking your vehicle you must have 2 wheels on the concrete.

Love it there at Blue Bluff. It’s a beautiful, quiet, well kept campground. The staff is great. One of my favorites.

I go there a lot. It's a beautiful place. The layout is good but a little cramped as there are a lot of waterfront sites. As all government funded recreation sites, Blue Bluff is neglected. Rotted timbers abound on the fishing piers and retaining walls. Sinkholes from water runoff are numerous at the retaining wall. Park hosts and staff do a great job maintaining the cleanliness but major repairs will have to be done soon. For what it could be this campground should be the jewel of the Waterway. Navigation of the water area is risky at best if you're not familiar as the Corp has abandoned channel marking between the campground boat ramp and the Waterway proper completely.

The views are spectacular! The sites are good sized. We enjoyed our stay! Only issue was lack of trash cans. The only ones were at the dump station. Hard to clean up after your dog when there are no trash cans. Lady cleaning the Restrooms was exceptionally nice.
