What Guests Are Saying
Blue Bluff Campground offers a beautiful, clean, and well-maintained environment with friendly staff and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite among visitors. Many enjoy the waterfront sites, hot showers, and the chance to connect with fellow campers. A few concerns include the need for more sewage connections and better lighting in certain areas, but overall, guests express a strong desire to return.

The hostess were very friendly. We went by the Covid rules . Wonderful time!
Do you have to have reservations or can you do walk ups? As we get ready to camp again. Thanks !

An excellent place to camp. I'm assuming due to Covid, all sites are Reservation only. If you arrive on a whim you will need to go online to reserve the site or, in my case, if you forget to leave, you must go online to extend your stay. The gracious Camp Hosts will go out of their way to help but they will not take your payment there. The waterfront sites are excellent as are all the others.

Pro: The Campground is built in a good format, we did like the site on the water, the air stayed nice and cool. Plenty of shade.
Con: The campsite was dirty when we arrived, trash in/around the fire pit. The campground host was kind of a jerk. They have a curfew, you must be back by 10pm or walk, they lock the gate and you cannot drive back in to you site. We were there for a funeral. Its none of their business what time we return. They would not give us the combination to the lock like State Parks do so we left a day early because we are not there to be prisoners, the D/C is down the road. But then again, maybe they think they are running a D/C, they way they behaved.
If you don't plan on leaving the campground its a good place to go, but if you want the freedom to come and go, don't waste your time or money.

We love the beauty and convenience of Blue Bluff. It is close to home, yet remote.

The Park Host are full of apologies because everything has to be done online. We were trying out our new camper. Could only stay one night. But, wouldn’t you know it, the place was practically empty yet I had to pay for two nights to stay one. Too bad for us we couldn’t just drive to another campground. Not sure why you have Park host.

There are not enough full hookups. Senior citizens need the ability to have this convenience.

New to camping..absolutely a great place. Grass needed to be cut...we actually went back this weekend and grass was cut. We will be here as often as possible next trip in a few weeks...going back. Sites on water front are beautiful.

Enjoyed this camp ground. However I would have liked more sites with sew hookups only three and the host have two so that leaves only one for campers
