This campground was wonderful! From checking in with Steve at the front to fires in our campsite each night, everything was wonderful. The sites were well maintained and spacious, and the view of the river was beautiful! There were many paved walking trails throughout the site that were wonderful to enjoy with our family. We will definitely be back!

Park itself is great. Lots of space and level pads for set up. I give it 2 stars because of the lack of a park host presence. Speed limit of 10 mph was not enforced. Cars easily doing 30 through the park and at one point passed a park host on their cart with nothing said. Quiet hour not enforced. Been better park host presence in our past visits.

We always enjoy our stays at DeWayne Hayes. The staff are friendly, professional and very helpful. The park is well kept, with grass mowed regularly. A stay here always includes a meal from Hank’s BBQ for some of his award winning barbecue! A food destination we’ve recently found is Rosie’s Place for delicious home cooking just like mom’s!

Only stayed 2 nights but wish we planned for longer. All th spots are super bug and we'll maintained. Camp hosts are nice and bath houses are well kept. It was fun walking around and meeting everyone. Would have liked walking on the hiking trails but it rained aloy while we were there.

More should be done to clear out undergrowth and make the view of the river better. We also need more sewer sites, but it is still a very well-kept campground.

I stay here because it is convenient to my work. The sites are relatively level. The hosts are very helpful and friendly. Close to Columbus City limits and all the eating areas.
