I stay here because it is convenient to my work. The sites are relatively level. The hosts are very helpful and friendly. Close to Columbus City limits and all the eating areas.

The sites are close together, but the entire park is so great, you'll be glad they made space for you to fit in.

Dwayne Hayes is a beautiful facility. Everything is well maintained and the camping spots are spacious. The campground hosts were very kind and helpful. We enjoyed strolling to the river and watching the barges. There were also many deer, squirrels and even a hawk coming by to entertain us.

My only issue was backing my 5th wheel into my spot. I had to make a sharp turn and my truck hit the flexible site number pole of the lot across from mine. I stopped before totally running over the pole but it did scrap my truck.

Great campground! Got to fish, ride bicycles, had a great camp fire, and saw six golden eagles in one tree soaking up morning sun. Thought the were buzzards at first, but got a good look at them and they were immature golden eagles! Love this camp ground!

We had a great time. We stayed in site 25. It was clean. The only down fall about it the limbs needs to be cut. A limb hit our air conditioner while we were backing up in the site# 25. Also it would be great if all site were full hook ups. Y’all would be booked up every weekend if y’all had full hook ups. We definitely would be there more. Thanks for a good time. We will be back.

Exceptional Park....The host was very friendly and helpful. The site (91) was fantastic, right on the river! Concrete pad that was very level and a lot of space around this particular site.
Highly recommend this campground!

The campground is very well kept and neat. The bathrooms are in good condition, although one needed soap in the dispenser. The hosts regularly patrol the campground and are very friendly. Overall, this is an excellent campground, and one of our local favorites!
