Whitten Park is a well-kept, beautiful campground located along the Tennessee-Tombigbee River, offering clean facilities and friendly hosts. Visitors appreciate the spacious, level sites, scenic views, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a great getaway. Really liked Whitten Park and only two things really keep me from rating it 5 stars. The first is the water view isn’t quite as good as some of the other parks but primarily because the cell service could be better. Neither of these things are the fault of the Campground. Staff was excellent. The roads and pads were good and the park was well kept. I will use it again and highly recommend it to other campers

We love camping here. I was sad that some parts have not been kept up over the years. We use to come camping here with my parents probably 10-15 years ago. The swimming area was much nicer and the trails used to have lights. It was also a disappointment that the center wasn’t open. I understand that covid and funding probably have impacted upkeep but it is still sad to see it deteriorating.
