I have been to a few Recreation.gov campgrounds. Whitten is the best of all everything was very clean and organized. Very nice, courteous and professional staff.

We only stayed overnight, we arrived late and left early, but the bathroom and showers were clean and well maintained.

My husband and I visited this park recently and we would definitely not recommend it. It had quite a few grounds maintenance problems, ie, much prolific poison ivy, dead trees dangerously hanging over campsites, low hanging limbs to maneuver around and some camp host with very unacommodating and hateful attitudes! It was less than stellar!
