Very nice campground. Original plan was to stay overnight. We ended up being there for 4 days. We will absolutely be back and highly recommended.

The fact that I arrived in the rain made it difficult to set up. This was not the parks fault!
However the location of the utilities was. I was in number 42 (a pull through) and the utilities are too far forward to allow for ease of set up AND be level. The "pad" is short to begin with and I have a Class B motorhome with no leveling help other than levelers. It took over 1/2 hour to get an "acceptable" degree of level. I expected more from the COE!
The signage to the park was also difficult. It would be great if it could be improved.

We always enjoy the park, but we’re surprised that so many people were parking and driving all over the grass. We were under the understanding it wasn’t allowed. The grass is always so pretty, otherwise it will be just mud. Other than that, we was a great stay. It is one of our favorite places to visit. Thanks.

light. Go north 4 miles. Campground is on the left side of the road
within the Jamie L. Whitten Historical Center Park.
