My camping experience was OK. I was on spot 35 and found that the 50 Amp service on this spot was bad. The RV I was using needed the 50 Amp service for all of the heat to work. We got pretty cold the first night. I was able to move to a different spot the next day where the 50 Amp service worked. The camping experience was much better after the first night.

Whitten Park was a stopover on my return trip from Florida to Missouri and I arrived after dark. Since I was running late the campground host called me to see if I was still coming. Since I was still coming she taped my tag to the office window. I really didn’t get to fully experience the park because of my late arrival and early departure the next morning but I did use the bathroom and found it to be really clean and well maintained. There was enough light outside that I could tell that the grounds were in top shape as well. Maybe some day I will have the chance to camp there when the days are longer and I can get the full experience.
