US Army Corps of Engineers park on the Tom-Bigbee Waterway is another fine example of COE campgrounds.
Although dated and becoming a bit overgrown this is a very nice place to stay.
Spacious campsites well spaced from each other. Views of the river with a gazebo, fishing piers and a swim area.
The museum was a plus.
We would be happy to stay here again.

We were on our initial "RVing" with a new trailer. It had been several years since we owned a travel trailer and was able to work out and reacclimate ourselves to the trailer. Park was excellent and the park hosts were absolutely fantastic! As I forgot a few items -tools a 30amp adapter lol. They helped us out and provided some good tips and timesaver advice. Thank you for a wonderful "Shakedown" RVing experience! P.s. if ya vistit the park make sure to bring a bike our good walking shoes - they have a great path along the river way !!!
