Repair the dam and fill the link back up with water would be awesome. But the cleanup and improvements? Has been absolutely. Benefit. We spend. Two to three weeks a year. Particular area. Visiting our grandchildren. And they love riding bicycles. But it'd be nice to have water in the lake.

This was our second visit to Hernando Point (and as RV owners in general..HA) It's such a perfect place. We love that we are close to "town" but the feeling of being away. Everyone there was so nice and our dog even had a blast. Can't wait to go back!

nice campground. kind of out of the way plan on driving 20 minutes at least from I 55.
the lake is drained so not a lot of activity in the area or cell service. plan on 15 to 20 minutes to get to nearest town.
nice views

VERY clean. Five stars!
But, with the lake empty, there is nothing to do. No walking trails, no play ground for children, etc.

This was me and my husband's first time venturing out with our new camper. We wanted to go somewhere where we could practice setting/hooking up and not be too far from town/home in case we needed anything. We had such a great time and are already planning to get back there this weekend. I know the water is nonexistent, but we loved just sitting outside, watching the deer walk by, listening to the birds, hearing the rainfall above us. The bathrooms (even though we have our on in our camper) were very clean, the grounds were well kept, and the sheriff who lives on site was incredibly nice. :) We look forward to our next visit.
