Upon 7:00 pm arrival, tent campers set up in our reserved spot, even though all the the other camp sites on that row were vacant. Unable to reach park ranger. Spoke to resident county sheriff, he found use a spot and was very helpful. Next day ranger called back and took care of situation. Camp host showed up next morning, not identifying him self, and said “you can not be here”. I explained park ranger is aware of us being here. He than said, in a rude voice, OK I will tell the ranger. Side not site 52 Hernando point still needs to have spigot fixed from hard freeze.

SIte 8 - Back-in site with back end closest to lake. If you have an RV with no rear windows may want to choose a site where RV site more parallel to lake. Water activities were closed for season as we stayed New Year's Eve, but area was absolutely beautiful & pristine with great concrete pads. Site was very quiet with an eagle's nest in the top of a pine tree near out site. Must bring in wood for campfire, recommend bringing it with you, as nearest place to possibly find any might be Hernando which is about 10mi away.

The only complaint is the water spiked was split on top and bottom. Called office and was told all maintenance people on vacation, wrapped it as good as possible.

This was our second trip in our travel trailer and we had a great time. Wish we would have picked an interior camp site as the wind off the lake was cold, but other than that we had a great time at the campground. We will be going back in the spring/summer to enjoy more of RV life!

The only thing I would change is to have the picnic table and fire pit on the front side of the camper instead in the back. Great view of the lake and the campground was very clean and quiet. Excellent place to camp.
