Clear Springs Recreation Area (MS)

It was very beautiful and the bathroom was clean! Nice trails to walk too.

A well-maintained campsite with easy access to various hiking paths and a beautiful lake. It's my preferred camp site and relatively close to my home in New Orleans.

We absolutely loved our stay for New Years. Everything was perfect...but the hunting dogs running through the sites was not welcomed at all. I am glad my kids are not afraid of dogs. They ran up to one elderly man who had to lift up and carry his little dog. These dogs circled our camp area and ran through the entire lower section barking and exciting everyone's, including our dogs.

Very clean grounds. Bathhouse was very clean and warm on these cold nights. Friendly host. Many miles of well kept hiking and mountain bike trails. Mills Branch and Richardson’s Creek trails are a must do.

Have been coming to Clear Springs for more than 20 years. We love the bluffs and the dense trees

Not as clean and well kept as it used to be. The leaves were piled up everywhere.

Great place

Very peaceful & secluded. Most sites are are to short for our 31 foot fifth wheel, but there are a few sites that will accommodate it. We like the upper loop, its a little more private. The "Even" numbered sites can be reserved online but the "Odd" numbered sites can only be reserved on a First Come First Serve basis. The way the First Come First Serve sites work is, you go and find the site you like. Go ahead and set up your tent/rv, and then drive back to the entrance. Then SCAN the QR code that's posted on the board with your phone, and then fill in the requested information on the App. Or, scan the code before you get to your site, and fill out the information at your site if you have service. Be sure to download the App onto your phone before leaving home. Verizon is what we have and we did have service at the entrance. We also had service on the upper loop and the internet worked pretty well. We streamed movies on Netflix with our Hot Spot. No buffering, except when the show was starting. Service was spotty on the lower loop. There's not much to do here, but we definitely enjoyed the downtime and being in nature. Its pretty hilly, so bike riding will be difficult for kids. We will be coming here again. We loved it.

Thanks guys was greater with a smile and a welcome!! We beat the record 38 ft by a 45 tiffin + 25 ft trailer. Stayed in upper loop 22 great pull through! Although 50 amp would be nice bring your 30 to 50 adapter. Clean warm bathroom was 36 that night outside. Thanks again.
