Clear Springs Recreation Area (MS)

never needed very nice bathhouse and sites, the name is a misnomer, though it had rained in the last week, other campers said in the past it wwas not a 'CLEAR POND. quicte muddy and nasty looking + only 3 campers for our visit. very nice trail around the pond, longer than youmight think, but takes you for a nice walk.

Nice Sites, Good spacing, Electric and water work. Bathroom needs a good deep cleaning.

Facilities were clean and decently stocked. Sites were lovely and well-spaced. The lake itself is scenic with a little gazebo that's perfect for fishing.

The first come, first served reservation system is a bit janky- I was unable to pay for multiple consecutive nights even though I was already at the campsite. So be aware you'll probably have to re-claim/pay for yout spot nightly if you're staying for a few days.

Great weekend getaway. Love coming here.

Beautiful campground. I booked an extra night and would have stayed longer if I hadn't committed to another campsite. The upper loop has fabulous views but unfortunately terrible cell service.

Park was well maintained, bathrooms well cleaned and stocked.

Perfect little spot on our way from Vicksburg to New Orleans! Would definitely come back. Water, showers, toilets, dump station, but it still felt like true solitude.

First Come First Served. We arrived early afternoon Friday and some sites available, lucked out #12 was big enough for a 28' trailer and tow vehicle (barely, nose of truck was at very edge of what's considered end of site). Condition of asphalt was fair, some sites where in better shape, some worse. Electric/water good. Restrooms and showers nearby in fair condition. Nice day use area by the lake. Our stay was overnight, would consider staying longer in the future.

Nice campsites and great rates. One of my favorite campgrounds. The lower parts of the loops have no cell phone service, as others have mentioned. You can walk to the top of the hill to get cell service, or pick a spot that's further up the hill. Trails are great here, and the area around the small lake is pretty. Some of the roads could be maintained a bit better -- there are several large potholes.
