Great place to visit. We have camped there twice a year for the last 10 years or so. Only complaint I have is that there are some who ignore rules about dogs being on leashes, and public drinking of alcohol.

great lil campground. the only thing bad is the wifi. If you are standing around the bathhouses your can get signal but not from a camper. This would be a great addition for full time campers, people working from their campers, or being able to wifi connect tvs on a rainy day. please fix this.

Beautiful views mature trees with plenty of shade. Nice paved sites. Enjoy the park every time we visit.

We love Piney Grove because it is close to home and offers relaxation, fishing, swimming, boating, and plenty of walking. It's a laid back atmosphere. There is the Martyville Cafe to the north and Crow's Restaurant to the south. If you're lucky, you can witness a vessel proceeding through the lock which is to the south of the camp ground connected to the Bay Springs Lake.

There are a variety of camping spots...some waterfront and others in wooded areas. We have usually been able to secure a waterfront spot. We always feel safe leaving our camper, chairs, etc to go walking or to the store. There are several bath houses close to the campers in each campground.
The park hosts are always very friendly.
