Needs sewer. Some sites are hard to get into due to trees.

It is a beautiful campground with easy access to the water. The spots are large and easy to back into. There is a small store close by that cooks breakfast and lunch. However, I strongly recommend you buy all food and necessities prior to your arrival.

We stayed in site 43. Beautiful view right on the water. The only issue was we experienced high voltage issues from the pedestal each night. Talked to maintenance folks but there was nothing they could do. Otherwise very nice and clean. The Host was very friendly and helpful.

The campground was extremely clean. The camp hosts at the gate were very friendly and helpful in answering questions. Seeing rangers making rounds through the grounds was also a plus. We will definitely be back.

We loved our campsite (#12)! And loved Piney grove overall. We will definitely be back!
My suggestions for improvement, however, would be please put some sort of fans at least in the bathrooms!
Tent camping July is extremely hot, and at the end of the day when you get a shower, it would be nice to get completely dressed before you start sweating again.
Also there was no soap provided at the bathhouse sinks..... I think providing soap for proper hand washing would be more beneficial than the laundry facilities still locked and closed down due to “Covid-19”.

It was too crowded in some areas. The bathroom showers where dirty and some of the handles in the shower had fallen off. Need to keep a better check in the bathrooms. They NEED AC in the bathrooms. It was SOOO hot in there. Didnt do no good to get a shower because while you was getting your clothes on you was sweating again. People parking in the grass it was hard to get through some places with a truck

Listen…driving to this place can seem….questionable, down backroads and spotty cell service. But location location location is the key! Beautiful campground located right on the water!! Wish we could have stayed longer!
