Camp ground was too noisy.
Employees could not give directions where the pavilion was located.

This is a beautiful campground. Well kept, and with a multitude of great campsites, many of which are on the water. Like every one of the Army Core of Engineers sites that I have used, the sites are spacious, gravel, level and private. Bathrooms are very good. Finally the camp hosts were very helpful and friendly. One caution, no firewood for sale in the campground, you need to buy it on the way in.

Very poor Verizon cell phone signal. Unsecured WiFi is not safe because someone connected to our iPhone for FaceTime. Park was great. If you donβt have family that you need to keep in touch with, this is a very good place to go. Sites are smaller than they should be, but otherwise a beautiful place to go.

There were some of the best park hosts that have ever been at the park. In years past there were some very poor park host. Upon entering a park host sets the tone for your visit to the park. And I will add that it is utterly ridiculous that the swimming area is not open. My thoughts are that itβs ludicrous.

This is a beautiful campground! We were welcomed by friendly folks. Our campsite was on the water and easy to back in to. It was very quiet. It is quite a distance from anything but great if you are looking to escape.

Stayed in 111, the site next to us was too close. Their fire ring was right next to our truck. The next day my truck had smoke smell inside. Took several days to get it out. Other than that, it was ok.
