On site 28 you might want to consider cutting 2 trees down or moving the concrete parking block back so a camper with a slide and an awning could use that spot. We know not to use that one again. Our slide was as close as an inch on the back side and we still had 3 wraps for the awning to be completely out. If we could have even backed up more we could have made it. Luckily we were able to move to another spot.

This specific site was where my family often stayed when I was a kid. I wanted to bring my girls to experience my favorite campground. It was just as I remembered. Plenty of shade and so much room to run around and play hide & seek. Also a great, sandy spot to swim without having to go over to the beach. This site will be hard to beat! We'll definitely be back!

Terrain at campsite was a little difficult for me to walk on. Very clean park. My husband loved the fishing dock behind our spot.

First time camping here. We picked the hottest of the year so far to camp at Piney Grove but there is plenty of shade which made it ok. Showers are not air conditioned but depending on the humidly of the day they were ok. Great that they have pictures of the sites so you can make sure your slides are clear. We will be back.
