The computer reservation set up is not user friendly. I make reservations for 3 other couples that do not have a computer to make their own. It is difficult to manage all 4 sites when trying to coordinate them in a limited time frame. In May 2023 was trying to find full hook ups in C loop, I could only find 3 so I reserved a spot in A loop. Then I found that I could reserve the handicap area if it was available, and no other sites were. So, to be close to the other couples I cancelled A loop and reserved the handicap site in C. This took all of 5 to 10 minutes for the transaction. I was charged 10.00 for those minutes I had in A loop. I was not very happy with that charge for a few minutes. We do enjoy Bucksaw and camp there often. I'm confused as to the end of season, being told at camp site that it will be first come first served at a reduced rate in October , but I can't find any information about that. Now the site says that starting the 15th of October reservations can be made.

We stayed at in C55. The main section of C loop is pretty much all full hook up. This is our 2nd year of having 6 or more of the spots for a group of friends to spend a week together, sharing meals, an evening fire and lots of fun. C loop is wonderful. There is a bathroom in the loop and shower house just one street over. We were there at the end of the booking season and the grass probably could have been mowed but it was not terrible. C55 has a lot of shade.
The bath house was keep very clean and stocked. The camp hosts were very nice. easy to work with.
The main thing about Bucksaw is this…while we are only 13 miles from home, you don’t even know it. The stress of the world just slips off your shoulders.
