Nicely kept grounds. Half the sites are closed (have been for several years obviously) and so parts of it feel like a ghost town. Playgrounds desperately need replacement.

We have always liked this campground. The bathrooms and shower house are kept clean. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Love seeing all the deer.

Nice, large sites and many with plenty of trees. Nice access to lake not far from camp. Site cleanliness was fair, it could definitely use a little more detail clean up and pick up. Bathroom were clean. Laundry was closed which was disappointing. Clinton, MO is about a 15 minute drive with access to all you need (Walmart, Aldi, Grocery Store). We stopped in the local winery as they have a brick oven pizza that was very good! It is a great, little town!

Mowers were there 3 out of 5 days we were there. Not bad, but ruined quietness. The site was great. Shady and full hookup. Campground had just a few other campers which was nice.

Grounds well maintained, including swim beach. We stayed in βCβ loop at one of the sites with full hook ups. Camp hosts very helpful. Multiple restrooms throughout campground, but only one shower house serves all camp sites. There are no laundry facilities. Nearby marina and boat launch are handy for main attraction: the lake! There are a few downsides to this campground: cell phone service very poor ( we have AT&T), no internet. We were able to pick up eight air TV stations including PBS Create & Emerge plus MeTV. Possible downside is that only trash dumpsters are at entrance to campground, which isnβt within walking distance to most campsites.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.

- Buy firewood locally and burn it on-site to protect forests from pests.
