What Guests Are Saying
Ruark Bluff East offers a fantastic camping experience with a beautiful location, clean facilities, and friendly staff, making it ideal for families. Campers appreciate the spacious sites, stunning lake views, and the variety of outdoor activities available, such as fishing and swimming. While some improvements are needed, including better grass maintenance and shower upgrades, overall, guests enjoy their time and are likely to return.

Be prepared for some sunshine. The sites are level with beautiful views of the water. The “A” loop is newly remodeled with level cement pads.

Camp site B05, was oddly split up and dirty. The fire pit is on a narrow slice of sloped ground and the camper sits between this and the only other available grass where the table is located. It poorly planned for enjoying a campfire. This site is not good for rv or tent camping.

Outhouses were full of mosquitos, and shower house had spiders.

It was a nice park, but with the water being up it was difficult to tell about the entire park area. We do understand the previous heavy rains caused this. However, the grass being so high made the stay somewhat unejoyable and the park look very neglected. It very much needed cutting

When we arrived at the campground we discovered that a portion of it was under water. Our site was not under water and we tried to setup but the site had some standard water and was very unlevel. Because the ground was so water logged our RV and leveling devices were sinking into the ground. After having a difficult time getting rehitched we went to the grounds entrance and asked if they had any options for a different site. They were super nice and was able to redirect us to another site for our stay and we ended up still having a great weekend camping.
