What Guests Are Saying
Ruark Bluff East offers a fantastic camping experience with a beautiful location, clean facilities, and friendly staff, making it ideal for families. Campers appreciate the spacious sites, stunning lake views, and the variety of outdoor activities available, such as fishing and swimming. While some improvements are needed, including better grass maintenance and shower upgrades, overall, guests enjoy their time and are likely to return.

The only thing I dislike is the noon checkout time it creates a line at dump station

Beautiful campground! The check out time is entirely too early for the large group site. There is only one dump station and 11 sites. Check out time is noon…really needs to be at least 3.

Very Beautiful and Peaceful. Lots of memories made between smores and fishing with my son while my wife read. Someone will get get lucky fishing one day as they might find the fishing pole that got away. LOL . Will definitely come again.

Sis and I arrived at site A23 for kayaking, hiking and fishing for a couple of days. The weather was perfect for camping and the site along with toilet facility were clean. Going mid-week was good as we had the entire loop to ourselves-almost. We saw lots of wildlife including deer, groundhog, raccoon, squirrels, herons and a bald eagle! The camp attendants were nice and friendly which always adds to an enjoyable stay. Thank you for Ruark Bluff East!

The staff is excellent. Bathrooms need updated and new family baths added. Could be mowed more often.
