What Guests Are Saying
Ruark Bluff East offers a fantastic camping experience with a beautiful location, clean facilities, and friendly staff, making it ideal for families. Campers appreciate the spacious sites, stunning lake views, and the variety of outdoor activities available, such as fishing and swimming. While some improvements are needed, including better grass maintenance and shower upgrades, overall, guests enjoy their time and are likely to return.

The attendants were very helpful. But for us this was not the right park. we like to sit on the bank and fish, which was not possible because of all the familys swimming all along the shore line. For Familys with children wanting to play in the water its a great place,

This is a quiet, beautiful campground with clean bathrooms/showers. I love that you can see the lake from every single campground and there is easy access to the water on all sides. We will definitely be back!

The campground and sites are always well maintained. The host are pleasant and helpful.
The boat ramps are good and well maintained.
The one improvement I would make would be to update the restroom/showers. They are outdated and not very appealing.
The state sites have much better facilities as do other federal sites. Example; The CORP sites below Beaver Dam. They are outstanding.
