What Guests Are Saying
Ruark Bluff East offers a fantastic camping experience with a beautiful location, clean facilities, and friendly staff, making it ideal for families. Campers appreciate the spacious sites, stunning lake views, and the variety of outdoor activities available, such as fishing and swimming. While some improvements are needed, including better grass maintenance and shower upgrades, overall, guests enjoy their time and are likely to return.

Site 2 gives decent privacy and is close to both the lake and the showers.

Site 19 is what they consider a party/group site, so if you're camping with another group it would be great (you share the driveway with your neighbors -site 21). Felt a little crowded since we didn't know the campers in the other site. The site is across the road from the lake -which was nice, and if you have kids this site is not far from the playground. Further walking distance to the bathroom with showers

This is the absolute best site at Ruark East with all the shade to play games and keep cool to the amazing access to the beached area just across from the site. Our first time here, we got it by chance due to a cancellation and ever since we understand why it’s so highly sought after. We keep watch to get it time and time again.

We did our cousin camp here. We had 6 of our grandkids and it was the perfect spot. We could see the kids as they played in the water and had enough space in-between the camp and water for them to play games. It was a great time for all of us and a lot of memories were made. We plan on returning for sure.

We had a beautiful campsite we could see the lake clearly almost all around us walked across the road to swim we had a lot of privacy. We had cell signal most of the time. The only thing I was dissatisfied with was the bathrooms. Disgusting bathrooms with no soap or flushing toilets. The main bathroom shower area had showers and flushing toilets but it was kind of outdated one shower wouldn't even lock and you couldnt control the water temeperate with little kids that wasnt fun. Also no soap and the bathrooms were kind of dirty. But other than that great. I'd go back even though the bathrooms sucked it was worth it.
