When we arrived at the campground we discovered that a portion of it was under water. Our site was not under water and we tried to setup but the site had some standard water and was very unlevel. Because the ground was so water logged our RV and leveling devices were sinking into the ground. After having a difficult time getting rehitched we went to the grounds entrance and asked if they had any options for a different site. They were super nice and was able to redirect us to another site for our stay and we ended up still having a great weekend camping.

New campsites are nice but too far from the water I am disabled and to hard to climb the hill

Great campground, only stayed one night but wouldn’t hesitate to stay longer on another trip through.
Sites are concrete and very large with an additional parking spot.

I have been several times and each time site 17. I brought my girl friend with me who has never been to Stockton and she loved it! She thought the lake and camp site was perfect. The weather was absolutely beautiful. Warm enough to swim during the day and cool enough in the evening to enjoy the camp fire. It was especially restful for my friend since she was able to leave her young children at home with dad to enjoy our girls' trip with no mom duties 😊! We will definitely be back.

Beautiful Stockton lake. Great views but our second day a very very large group showed up around noon. About 6 hrs before check in/out. They were loud and rude and walking through our campsite. Like literally right next to our fire and picnic table.trying to pressure us to leave. We checked in at 6 fri and planned on staying til 5 or 6 sat.we did eventually leave around 3 after getting dirty looks for hours. Campsite was great. I used to love going here in the late 90s. Campsites are very very close together now. I'll be back but probably not on a weekend.

Camping at Stockton Lake, MO was great. The camp host was most helpful and kind. We mostly played in the water.

This is a great area to camp. Our site was close to the water so we were able to launch our kayaks right there.

Very beautiful and quiet except for the raccoons at nite. The only thing needed is trash can thru out the park.
