The attendant at the gate was very helpful. The grounds were very well kept.

We had an awesome time, it is quiet, clean, and the Care Takers are friendly and helpful.
The bathrooms and showers were great.
We plan to stay again.

Great park attendants! Would like to see a few more trees along the edge of the campground where the water is. That would cut down on electricity being drawn so heavily because of A/C’s in the heat. The shower house needs new door locks on them as 2 of the 4 won’t lock at all. Would also like to see less lights left on during the night. It can be very bright in a camper from neighboring sites when they have everything lit up all night long. Great campsite though overall! I will be back. 😀

From Greenfield, Missouri, take State Highway H. north for 6.4 miles and turn left on the park access road. Follow signs into the park area.

Arrival & departure
- Check-in time is 4:00 PM and check-out time is also 4:00 PM.
- For more information, contact the park or project office at the provided numbers.
Cancellation policy
- Ruark Bluff West is for overnight stays only; day use is prohibited. Reservations may be canceled if no valid camping unit is present.
- Reservations cannot be made via phone call to the park.
Utilities
- Drinking water and electric hookups are available from April 16 to September 29.
Site capacity
- Each campsite allows one RV and either two tents or three tents.
Safety & rules
- Park rangers and County Sheriffs Deputies patrol the campground regularly.
Fires & fuel
- To protect forests, do not move firewood; buy it locally and burn it on-site.
