Beautiful campground on Stockton lake. Our site was level, paved and clean. Showers were clean as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Campsite was really good in a good location and relatively level (tent camping). Restrooms and showers were good, not great, but good. Some of the showers were missing the shower heads.

Beautiful campground on Stockton lake. Our site was level, paved and clean. Showers were clean as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Typical corp of engineers park. well maintained, good spacing between sites. Check in is more difficult than most due to the park having an east and west section with mondays and tuesdays having to go to the east campground to check in for the west. I suggest calling in before you arrive to see what you need to do. Also, we have ATT and could not get any service at when there to call in to staff to let them know we had arrived rather than driving miles to go to the east area to check in. Otherwise it is a beautiful, remote park and we will stay again.

Arrival & departure
- Check-in time is 4:00 PM and check-out time is also 4:00 PM.

Cancellation policy
- Ruark Bluff West is for overnight stays only; day use is prohibited. Reservations may be canceled if no valid camping unit is present.
- Reservations cannot be made via phone call to the park.
Utilities
- Drinking water and electric hookups are available from April 16 to September 29.
Site capacity
- Each campsite allows one RV and either two tents or three tents.
Safety & rules
- Park rangers and County Sheriffs Deputies patrol the campground regularly.
Fires & fuel
- To protect forests, do not move firewood; buy it locally and burn it on-site.
