Frank Russell Campground, set near the picturesque Mark Twain Lake, has a location near the dam, providing campers with easy access to the lake, river and surrounding attractions. Very peaceful and quiet stay. Due to the slope I had to lower the front of my 30’ trailer all the way to the ground to the point it was bottomed out to find level (was still just shy but close enough), and also had to add 4” of blocks under the passenger side wheels. Thankfully I had 2 spare stabilizer buckets I could put under the feet of my steps to the rear door of my camper, or they would have been a foot shy of touching the ground even with the legs fully extended. Made climbing in and out a challenge otherwise it was a great stay. Virtually no signal here for AT&T.
