Great campsite. There’s lots of water spigots and the horse stalls are nice. Great trail riding right from camp. Only thing is there’s no shade for a lot of the sites so tent camping in the summer is hot. Plan accordingly.

We love the barn, the stalls and all the interlocking gates! The sites are plenty wide and long with easy access.
We love the fishing pond and walking/workout trail. This park is beautiful, peaceful and well kept. Horse Trails are clearly marked and an easy ride.
We took a day trip into Hannibal one rainy day. Lots of shops and history to see.

We stayed overnight on our way to So. MO. Nice facility, flat cement slabs for trailers, pens for horses.

This was my 3rd time at this camping area. It was very accommodating at each campsite and the barn is very nice with stalls. Because of the construction going on in the main camp ground the hydrant closest to the barn was not working but the campers all pitched in their hoses and we connected to the closest hydrant so everyone was able to water their horses at the barn. The trails are in very good shape. The campground is close to stores and businesses. We will be back again.
