Check-in was a bit confusing but loved the campground. The site was a bit unlevel and needed a few inches of blocking under the rear tires but the site was very clean and LOTS of room between campsites! Only electric was available at the site and only 30 amp but that was all we needed anyway.

I like it there overall. Really the only down side is no water/ sewer hook ups. Other state parks have it. Why not there?

We have stayed at Frank Russell before and we are never disappointed. It was a holiday weekend and yet another awesome stay! My boys love riding their bikes around the camp ground. We love walking down the trails to the lake! Can't tell you enough how clean the shower house and bathrooms are everytime. This is sooo nice. Warm showers and clean bathrooms are a premium!! Riding our bikings to the fishing pond is a must, it is well stocked and so beautiful. It's a sancyuary in it self. So peaceful, clear-crisp water, fish flopping around. Can't wait to go back. Another bonus, they have started piping water to each campsite!!
