This site is very clean and well laid out. Not jammed in side by side. Restrooms and showers are exceptional. The only change I would suggest is to put an outhouse on the loop to the right fork. I stayed here on my way to Illinois and again on the way back.

I haven't camped in a truly bad site, EVER with the COE at this location. Some are a little nicer than others perhaps but we've ALWAYS enjoyed our stay! The fishing pond is great when bringing little ones. Volunteers are friendly and the whole atmosphere is very relaxing.

Nice spacious sites. Love the FHUs. Quieter. Wish there better access to Lake rather than cliffs.

We love everything about this campground except the lack of a playground for children and the location of said playground. What little playground they do have is 2 swings and 1 small slide. Located at the very front of the campground.
