What Guests Are Saying
Frank Russell campground is highly praised for its clean, spacious, and well-maintained sites, including level concrete pads with full hookups and ample room for privacy. Visitors appreciate the beautiful surroundings, well-kept trails, and facilities, making it a favorite for camping with horses and enjoying outdoor activities. While some noted issues like noise from neighboring sites and the need for more on-site staff, overall, guests express a strong desire to return and recommend the campground for a relaxing experience.

We stayed at site 42, it was awesome! Paved sites, recessed fire pit! Very quiet! We will definitely be back!

Great campground! Just stay out of the weeds so you don’t experience chigger outbreaks.

Recently updated with full hookups and concrete pads with firepits. A few electric only sites had paved pads, but the vast majority had been updated. Our site was very unlevel, but it was an excellent site, nevertheless. Site 41 was private and had a view of the lake through the trees. I would definitely choose this site again.

This was our second visit to Frank Russell. We love how the park was updated with the great cement slabs, fire pits and full hookups.

Campsites are great. Main road needs to be blacktopped on the rocky strips.
