This is a very special and beautiful campgrounds. It is conveniently close to downtown Durango. The restrooms are clean, the pool is pleasantly warm, the other guests are quiet and the staff is helpful. We will surely be returning.

We spent the night at a tent site which was beautiful, well shaded, and mosquitoless. There was an all night choral performance of nighttime insects which was beautiful, but stunningly loud. The communal bathrooms and showers could definitely use some attention in terms of age and cleanliness.

We always enjoy our stay at Indian Creek. Earlier the ticks were AWFUL (June visit) this stay we didn't encounter any, but we didn't go hiking at all either. (we were getting ticks just in our camp site)

Nice level pad, large flat gravel site for chairs, dogs and fire pit. Easy to back into, lake/water
beach access 1/2 mi down path at end of culdesac circle drive. Great for family swim, dogs and fishing. Feels like a beach with waves rushing in from boats!

VERY easy to back into but our space for chairs and set us was poor due to railroad ties and step down. Gravel was thin and sandy after rain. There is a beach access 1/2 mi down path at end of culdesac circle drive. Great for family swim, dogs and fishing. Feels like a beach with waves rushing in from boats! Very part about this section of campground!
