We had the best weekend ever. Kayak, walked, enjoyed every minute there.
Even that night it was raining, looking at the sky watching it rain.

Great beautiful area to camp. Bathrooms were not very clean. Guess it’s not very tent-camping friendly, as we were the only ones. Which is fine in itself, but our RV neighbors were watching TV outside with the volume at 100. Didn’t seem to bother the other RV’ers who all just wanted to know the score. Whatever. We were there for quiet, not a sports bar atmosphere.

Very nice area, quiet, shady and good facilities. BUT!!! the registration process is ridiculous, burdensome, time consuming and intrusive. Considering the amount of taxes collected for parks and the $20.00 fee for a tent in the future I will look elsewhere for a campsite.

20 years since I’ve been back and this time I brought my boys. Great experience having access to hot showers and bathrooms. Easy access trail to the lake. Over all quiet and secluded enough for us to enjoy some family time.
