We stayed one night. Liked the spots with lake view. Wished the people camping 2 sites up would have not been playing with kids in the empty campsite between us until dark with screaming kids. Liked the full hook up at our site. Campground was clean and check in lady was friendly. We will be back.

The last campers left this site a mess.
There were plastic containers (5+) thrown into the fire ring, most partly melted.
There were bits of trash scattered around on the ground that WE PICKED UP.
There was a pile of charcoal briquettes dumped outside the fire pit.
We’ve stayed at a lot of parks in our lives but never encountered such a disrespect for the land and other campers.
Campers like these rude people should be fined or banned from the park.

Campsites are n excellent repair / condition. Short trails to the waterfronts are nice. Wear wading shoes you protect your feet from sharp rocks.

This is a very special and beautiful campgrounds. It is conveniently close to downtown Durango. The restrooms are clean, the pool is pleasantly warm, the other guests are quiet and the staff is helpful. We will surely be returning.

We spent the night at a tent site which was beautiful, well shaded, and mosquitoless. There was an all night choral performance of nighttime insects which was beautiful, but stunningly loud. The communal bathrooms and showers could definitely use some attention in terms of age and cleanliness.

We always enjoy our stay at Indian Creek. Earlier the ticks were AWFUL (June visit) this stay we didn't encounter any, but we didn't go hiking at all either. (we were getting ticks just in our camp site)
