What Guests Are Saying
Sutton Bluff Recreation Area is praised for its great campground, especially for ATV enthusiasts, with direct access to trails and a beautiful natural setting. Many visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the respectful behavior of fellow campers, despite some issues with facilities and the absence of a camp host. While there are concerns about maintenance and missing amenities like a wastewater dump, overall, the area remains a favored spot for camping and outdoor activities.

Peaceful campground with a awesome host! Great river access and swimming. We had such a good time camping and a playground for kids would have made it even better. Overall beautiful place to camp for the weekend.

An excellent out of the way campground. For an april visit with rain and one day of snow, there were only two campers there, but we had an excellent time hiking the trail and walking the river. No cell service, so be prepared.

Recreation area. Simple and sweet. Great for a quick night's stay. Make sure to check the weather, the area is prone to flash floods!

Steve is a wonderful host and keeps the grounds excellently maintained! Camp itself had great amenities and was quiet. Ozark Trail is a seven minute or so walk from camp with access to the river right before it. Great first experience here, can't wait to go back and highly recommend!
