What Guests Are Saying
Sutton Bluff Recreation Area is praised for its great campground, especially for ATV enthusiasts, with direct access to trails and a beautiful natural setting. Many visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the respectful behavior of fellow campers, despite some issues with facilities and the absence of a camp host. While there are concerns about maintenance and missing amenities like a wastewater dump, overall, the area remains a favored spot for camping and outdoor activities.

This campground is perfect! Steve does a phenomenal job keeping it clean and inviting. It’s definitely a great family campground. You can enjoy a swim in the River or a ride on your side by side. I wish that all of the sites had electric, so we could go more frequently. It’s really hard to get in unless you book 6 months in advance.

What a gorgeous place to relax and get wet! Flushable toilets and hot showers too. The host is amazing, so sorry to hear he is retiring, hope he finds a replacement as awesome as he is, and glad he will have more time with his family.
