What Guests Are Saying
Sutton Bluff Recreation Area is praised for its great campground, especially for ATV enthusiasts, with direct access to trails and a beautiful natural setting. Many visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the respectful behavior of fellow campers, despite some issues with facilities and the absence of a camp host. While there are concerns about maintenance and missing amenities like a wastewater dump, overall, the area remains a favored spot for camping and outdoor activities.

The host was so friendly. He even helped my husband set up. I didn't like the restrooms being so far away. It makes it kinda hard for someone with a disability in the middle of the night. Restrooms were very clean though. I only wish we had chosen a better weekend. We were rained on almost the entire time. Hard rain too! Water access was pretty good too. We had fun feeding the fish. Maybe being able.to get bait on the campground would be a good idea as well. Town is just kinda far off. Just an idea to maybe consider. We had a good time overall and I'm sure we'll be back in 2020

My family has been camping at Sutton Bluff for over 50 years. I love the remote location and easy access to the river. Also, really enjoy having the onsite host who checks on the sites, has ice and firewood available (and ice cream!), and makes sure quiet time is observed at night.

Nice campground. Only noisely on weekends when atv's are driving around. We gave it 3 stars because they do not have a dump station.
