I got to admit, to be my first time camping it was an excellent experience. We stayed the two required weekend days but next time it’ll be a couple more days. The atmosphere was great, we enjoyed the peaceful and quiet evenings. I’m very happy to have such a wonderful place less than an hour away from home.

Very nice place and clean! Beautiful views. Only issue we saw was there is no water spigot to flush your black tank at dump station. There is a spigot that says “drinking water only” a few yards away….but who puts a drinking water spigot that close to a black tank dump station? LOL!

We loved staying at Campbell Point campground. The whole place was very well maintained and clean. The camp host was very friendly and relaxed but clearly cared a lot about keeping the grounds free of trash and the bathrooms well stocked and clean. Our large family tent camped on site 51. There was a slight slope to pretty much all of the sites but it wasn't a big deal.
There was a nice playground and beach, swim area that the kids loved to visit though it was too cool to swim. The marina store was very nice and well stocked, though pricey.
The vibe was a lot of older folks and families so it was very relaxed and pretty quiet overall. Though the actual sites were fairly close together the tree coverage helped make it feel a little bit more private.
We are already planning our return trip.

This is a very nice clean camp site with level asphalt set up. It has a nice view of the lake with well maintained, clean restroom/shower house within short walking distance across the road to the West. The Black Oak Amphitheater (Lampe) is a 35 minute drive from here if you are attending an event there. If you like excellent food & a cold beer, stop at the Cruise Inn & Throttle Down Bar & Grill @ Kimberling Heights just off Hwy 13.

wonderful campground. Level sites, very clean, enough space around the individual sites, fire pit and good electrical hookup. Friendly people, good access to buy ice cream (the important stuff, tee hee).

Loved this Campground. We stayed on site 27. It has a great view of the lake and plenty of room for our 35’ fifth wheel. The bathhouse was a short walk away and was very clean and well maintained. The Campbell Point Marina was also a short walk from our campsite and offers boat rentals, ice cream and tee shirts. We will definitely stay here again.
