First night was fine. Second night there was alot of under age drinking going on. Got woke up in the middle of the night with neighbors fighting and hitting and arguing going on. Was not very happy about that. Patrolling the area was not good only seen one police vehicle come threw and camp staff come threw once, needs to be more watched over. This has been the first time in 3 year's we had to deal with something like this.

Campsite road had deep water induced ruts. If it had been full, the campsites would have been on top of each other. Electrical box was not on same level as camp site, probably not a problem for lumber folk, but was a nuisance for this old arthritic skeleton. I probably won't be back, too many others to explore. Was the only campground with openings in the Tablerock area, should have told me something.

Would have rated our experience higher, however the grass there hadn’t been mowed in a while and it was way too high. Also, no checkin or checkout staff on site.

Due to storms and other unforeseen circumstances we did not get to camp. We tried many times on the website to change our reservation to another date. Twice we were alerted that our change was successful. IT WAS NOT. Your website is NOT USER FRIENDLY to make changes.

Great Camp Ground. HAD THE BEST CAMPING WEEKEND. WILL ALWAYS CAMP HERE. PARK RANGER WAS VERY NICE AND HELPFUL.. WHEN ELECTERIC DIDNT WORK HE WAS RIGHT THERE GETTING HELP TO GET IT FIXED.

I was in the loop and some campsites had 5 to 6 vehicles using my parking. It would be nice to have campground hosts to deal with issues.

As usual, Campbell Point was a nice camping experience. Shower houses are clean and serviced, campsite was clean and level. We camp there often and recommend it. It was weird that the camp host was gone, no one ever checked us in with the tags for our vehicle. We never saw any park rangers drive through.

Very nice level site with a great view of the lake. Campbell Point is a very nice campground and the hosts are very nice and friendly.

Getting There
From Cassville, Missouri, take Highway 76 to Highway 39, then turn southeast onto the Highway YY access road and follow to the campground.
Highway access
Campbell Point is accessible via Highway 76 and Highway 39, with the nearest major roads providing access approximately 15 miles away from the campground.
Policies & Rules
General
- ALL personal equipment (boats, trailers, personal supplies etc. ) must be stored at reserved campsites. No equipment shall be stored in boat ramp/day-use parking for overnight storage.
- Large rigs may have trouble navigating these campground roads.
- No off-road vehicles permitted
- One tent and one RV or two tents are allowed per campsite
- All pets must be penned, caged or on a 6 foot leash at all times, No Exceptions!!!
- Sanitation, No dumping of household trash, gray water, rubbish, black water or any other waste material or waste liquid. All waste generated must deposed of at the dump station or removed from the project lands.
- Failure to pay day use fees, and or properly display applicable receipt, permit or pass is prohibited.
- No parking in the grass, this is a violation of project land rules!!!
- Camping at one or more campsites at any one water resource project for a period longer than 14 days during any 30 consecutive day period is prohibited without the written permission of the District Commander.
- Please be advised that providing business services within a USACE campground is prohibited per Title 327.18(a) The engaging in or solicitation of business on project lands or waters without the express written permission of the District Commander is prohibited. This includes services such as RV or tent delivery & set-up, firewood sales and delivery.
- All discounted passes (Golden Age, Senior Lifetime, Senior Annual, Access) must be physically present upon arrival. Fraudulant use of a Golden Age or Golden Access Passport (Printouts, photos ect.) is prohibited and will not be discounted.
- Office hours are between the hours of 8:00 a.m-10:00a.m. and from 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m, seven days a week. Camphost and or Rangers will issue campground hangtags after valid check-in. Please check-out on departure. If Camphost is not present, please drop pink tag off at the dropbox.
