What Guests Are Saying
Crabtree Cove is praised for its beautiful, clean surroundings, friendly staff, and well-maintained facilities, making it a great camping destination. Many reviewers appreciate the variety of campsites, which cater to different needs, and the peaceful atmosphere, especially during the week. However, there are concerns about shower pressure, uneven ground, and a lack of soap in public bathrooms that should be addressed for an improved experience.

This was one of the only campsites I have ever camped at where it seemed the majority of the other campers were so incredibly loud & rude all day & night long!! We were told when we checked in "you need to make sure to note, know & abide by the green highlighted areas bc these WILL be strictly enforced this weekend." We camped Memorial Day weekend so I was prepared for some loud & obnoxious people. Literally multiple neighboring campsites would yell and scream across the park to others. It was loud during the day with the same majority of the campers yelling & their kids riding drifters & driving RC cars but seemed to be much worse as the night went on. Every night, yelling, cursing & raunchy, inapporpriate music happened most of the time until at least 3 am. One of the "strictly enforced" rules was quiet by 10pm. Nothing was done. Cops & rangers drove through at all hours but nothing changed. People walked though our campsite all weekend long, even though there was really no purpose! We weren't by a lake spot, bathroom or playground. We had adult men trying to scare my kids AT OUR TENT DOOR one night. The campground itself is not well kept. It's very rocky with sticks & branches all over. The vault toilets were more gross than should have been, even after they were cleaned about 7am each morning with loud machines. The site we stayed at was at a slant, to the point the fire pit was hard to use bc the wood would roll around. The picnic tables looked/felt like they were going to collapse. It's a shame bc this could be an amazing park but it is not.

Campground was almost empty since it was Monday and Tuesday. Our site had a beautiful view of the lake. Hosts were very helpful

Very clean campground. The hospitality couple is super friendly and try extra hard to please. Restrooms and showers are very well kept. We have been going there for a number of years and will go again!
