A great mid-week getaway close to home. Only 2 other families there. Wonderful place to get away from it all and be completely emersed in nature. If you need a trip out of the grounds go see Dillard Mill.

Got a spot right with a path right to the river. So beautiful and quiet. Easy to find. Clean vault toilets.

Really nice park, especially in the summer when you can swim and wade in the river. Our first time camping here in the fall. Beautiful and quiet. Not crowded. Clean and really nice camp sites. Enjoyed every minute!

Minor things such as where trash is located and camp paths were not clearly communicated anywhere.

There isn't that much to do in the area, so definitely go to this campground if the main thing you're trying to do is get away.

This is the most beautiful camping spot I have ever seen. I had the upper loop to myself, it was gorgeous and serene. The vault toilet was spotless and very well cleaned. I was very impressed, and will definitely be back.

The grass was very tall and unkept. The bathroom vaults were not cleaned on a regular basis. There was toilet paper but it is difficult to get it off the rolls. There were signs posted on the vaults as to when they were cleaned , but it was not done on a daily basis. I personally think it should be done twice a day at least.

This campground is very rustic. Some sites are beautiful and overlook the bluff. Ours was some distance away. If you love being out in the woods with no one around, no plumbing, no showers, and no camp store, this place is for you.

Pretty run-down in the lower loop.
