The Black Butte Cabin is a well-kept and clean accommodation with beautiful views and close proximity to hiking trails. Guests appreciated the serene location and the wildlife sightings, such as a bull moose. However, there were some minor concerns regarding signs of mice and potential issues with local wildlife chewing on car wires.

The cabin was so clean and comfy. Great views of Lion Mountain. Close to Black Butte. So many wildflowers. We’ll be back soon!

Clean cabin. Best to bring silverware, since it’s mostly plastic. No mice. Great hiking since meadows connect to great vistas.
