What Guests Are Saying
Cliff Point Campground offers a beautiful and peaceful lakeside setting, ideal for nature lovers. The campground features clean facilities, friendly hosts, and well-maintained sites, with some having direct water access. However, the experience can be marred by disruptive day users and a lack of enforcement of camping rules.

Cliff Lake campground experience was fabulous. Loved that the Rangers were there checking folks in and monitoring use.

Beautiful campground forest service came in and mowed grass down made the place look wonderful.

Horribly over rated! Biting and stinging bugs galore, no fish, freezing lake water covered with dead bugs. Windy every day and hot! Campers or better yet glampers are rude and run generators all day for A/C in their micro RVs. Water smells like the pit toilet right next to it. Lake looks great for about an hour. Like the pictures. Otherwise gray and choppy.
The best I could say is the camp host was great! Kept the pit and site clean. Very approachable and friendly.

Zillions of mosquitos due to swampy water (NW corner of lake). Strong winds everyday, pretty much all day long, making for unpleasant kayaking. Constant traffic all day long, even in the middle of the night from people looking for camp spot even though all 6 spots are reservation only. Had to sleep with smelly trash in van as no trash pick up and can’t leave outside due to bears (including grizzlies).

Love this place for serenity, peace, and quiet. If you're looking to party, this is not the campsite for you.

Excellent site, right on the water. So quiet and peaceful and just enough space between sites that you have privacy. We paddleboard right from the site. Cliff Lake is the most beautiful in Montana.

Great campground and lake. No trailers recommend past the boat launch area (5 minute walk before campground). Each site seemed to have lakeside views except for 6. The trade off at 6 was great privacy. Lake is beautiful and most sites had stairs down to the beach. Lots of rainbows to be caught.

I don't want others to discover this beautiful place - so we keep it all to ourselves.
