Beautiful area! We 100% will be back. The lake was one of the nicest I have been in. Camp hosts were friendly.

Very clean campground and most campsites are close to the lake! There was an issue with people not putting their foods away, but FWP was quick to talk to those that had food laying around all day/night.

This is a favorite get-away with easy access to the lake and a reasonably quiet campground. We missed having a more attentive campground host but appreciated the newly painted, cleaner outhouses.

This campground was wonderful!! We were so surprised when we drove in how beautiful it was. The lake is clear blue turquoise and they have a swim area. Dogs aren't allowed on the beach in the swim area but there was more access to the lake dogs were allowed. There was no shortage of vault toilets! And they were so clean and had no nasty smell. We did get road noise but keep in mind it's next to a lake that has a highway along the lake and noise travels, but it didn't bother us. We enjoyed Eureka and Whitefish. We are from Idaho and haven't explored much of our neighboring state. It's beautiful and the people are so nice (not as insane as our Northern Idaho folk if you know what I mean).

Tent site completely flooded from water draining down off the road. A lot of leaning trees that need to be taken down for safety. The Forest Service crew would visit each day and rather than addressing the maintenance issues they would sit and chat with the camp hosts.
