We loved it here! Our site was grassy with a nice shade tree and songbirds. We only used the men's shower, which was clean/hot. The Camp Host team were friendy! We spent an afternoon exploring the Fort Peck Dam and Spillway areas by car, the signage boards gave a very informative and honorable history on the river, dam, Reservoir and its management. Recommended campground!

Great park even though there’s no sewer or water - love the spaciousness and shade and privacy of the sites.

YOUR RESERVATION SERVICE IS LOWSY. NO ONE SHOULD BE ABLE TO RESERVE A BLOCK OF DAYS (14) AND THEN DECIDE TO USE TWO OR THREE AND GET REFUNDS ON THE REMAINING DAYS. THERE SHOULD BE NO REFINDS PERIOD.

The facilities were good, and the free hot shower was much appreciated. The reservation system is odd, especially for drop-ins. We arrived and talked to the volunteer in the booth, who told us we had to either log onto the recreation.gov site or call the phone number he provided. We found a site and made the call. After providing a LOT of details we were told the site was available and we paid for it online. Then drove back to the entrance where the volunteer gave us a card to hang inside our camper. You might think that the volunteer could handle the whole reservation process, but I guess not. Still, a pleasant place to stay and a bargain for seniors.

Nice park and great hosts. Would have been helpful if the website had made it clear that water hookups were not available at the individual campsites.
