We love camping at Downstream. The only complaint we had was the people with multiple dogs barking and off leash. 5 dogs at one campsite is a bit much.

This was our first experience with the Downstream CG, we were not disappointed. Proximity to the river and dredge cuts enhances the fishing opportunity.

Very clean park with new bathrooms and showers. Campground staff went out of their way to help us when our rv wouldn't start. Very helpful in finding the park also. A map of the dam facilities would have helped on our way in

Beautiful area! We were there in early May of this year (2021). Not many folks there. The facilities are top rate. Wonderful place for taking a walk and especially for riding bikes! Lots of birds and we got to see a couple of beavers near a small tree they had just fallen .... right along one of the paved walking/biking trails. Wonderful campground for both old and young alike. We'll be back!
As an aside .... great beer brewed at the Bare Knuckles Brewery in Glasgow! :)

We’ve stayed at the Downstream campground for many years
We’ve never had any problems.
We used to work at the downstream campground for C.O.E. They know us every time we come.

We planned a family get together that was quite large. We also had family friends that were looking for camping areas over the 4th of July holiday. This site worked great.

The site was large with a large grass area. There is an Interpretive Center a short walk or bike ride away that shows a complete history of the area, a must see. The gate hosts were helpful and friendly.
